Uganda gets New USD6M Water Plant

Tuesday, 23rd August, 2011

The IFTRA Group, an emerging international food supply chain conglomerate, has injected $6m (about sh17b) into a new mineral water plant in Uganda.

Manoj Sreekanta, the managing director, said last week that the production of ULA Mineral Water has already started.

Sreekanta disclosed that another $4m would be pumped into the plant in the next four years to compete favourably with other actors in the sector. ULA Mineral Water is the first to be branded by IDEASPICE, a global brand consultancy.
