On the trading bourse on Tuesday 15th November 2011,
DFCU bank made the highest gains at UG shs30m after selling 30,000 shares at weighted average of UG shs1000.

The market gained a total turnover of over UG shs71m, while the total number of shares traded was 610,252.

National Insurance Corporation sold 18,000 shares at an average price of UG shs45, yielding UG shs810,000 in turnover.

Bank of Baroda was also active trading 61,082 shares at a price of UG shs250, picking turnover of UG shs15.3m.

After its annual general meeting on Tuesday, New Vision resumed trading on Wednesday making the highest gains of the day, week and month. The media giant picked turnover of over UG shs379m from 499,991 shares traded at a weighted average price of UG shs760.

The other two companies active were Stanbic Bank that sold 130,000 shares at an average price of UG shs117, yielding UG shs15.2m in turnover.

British American Tobacco Uganda picked turnover of UG shs1.5m from 1106 shares traded at an average price of UG shs1316.

On the trading floor on Thursday, there were offers of 813,784 New Vision shares, but the media company closed the day with no traded volumes.

Stanbic Bank made the highest gains at UG shs35.2m after trading 305,607 volumes at a price of UG shs115.

DFCU came second in making the highest gains. The bank yielded 26.8m in turnover after selling 26,757 shares at a price of UG shs1000 per share.

British American Tobacco Uganda posted 5,777 shares at a weighted average price of UG shs1304. The company made UG shs7.5m in turnover.

Bank of Baroda picked UG shs2m in turnover from 8,728 shares traded at a price of UG shs230.

On the day of closing, Friday, National Insurance Corporation made the highest gains at UG shs19.8m from trading 440,000 shares at a price of UG shs45 per share.

British American Tobacco Uganda made gains of UG shs667,500 from selling 500 shares at UG shs1335 per share.

Bank of Baroda posted 765 shares from which it yielded UG shs175,950 in turnover. The price was UG shs230 per share.

Stanbic Bank traded 40,369 shares at a price of UG shs115 managing to yield turnover of UG shs4.6m.

DFCU bank sold 1,600 shares at a price of UG shs1000, picking UG shs1.6m in turnover
