ARRIVAL/IMMEDIATE VISA

1.Question: Where is the location of Entebbe immigration office?
Answer: Refer to map of entry/exit stations in Uganda

2.Question: Is the payment for the arrival visa be made with a credit card or strictly by cash?

Answer: If it is at port of entry, cash is required. If visa is obtained at mission abroad, credit card may be used.

3.Question: How long does it take to get an arrival/immediate visa?

Answer: Visa is obtained upon application

4.Question: What is the criterion of permitting an
arrival/immediate visa?

Answer: You must have all the required documentation as stipulated in the entry requirements for Uganda.

5.Question: If it is a group, say (business, diplomats,tourists or students), do you give the arrival visa as a group or every individual?

Answer: We do not issue group visas

6.Question: Do you allow the following group of people to get an arrival or immediate visa:
a)Business people.
b)Tourists.
c)Diplomats.
d)Mass media (journalists).
e)Guests to attend a conference.

Answer: Visas will be issued to bona fide travelers on the basis of reason for entry. The government reserves the right of admission of any foreign national into Uganda. Kindly refer to requirements for entry into Uganda
