DAY 1- Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will start driving early morning towards the west from Kampala, stopover at the Equator for photographs and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will follow the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey.

Your journey to Queen Elizabeht will take about 7 hours, you will therefore have your lunch en route.

Get your camera ready when you enter Bushyenyi District so that you can capture those interesting shots during your game drive en route, you're likely spot some Lions,Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species.

You will then book into your favorite Queen Elizabeth Safari Lodge for over night.

DAY 2- Take your Game Viewing Safari at Queen Elizabeth National Park

After your Breakfast, you will take an early morning game drive in this Uganda National park.

At Queen Elizabeth National Park you will excellent opportunities to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks and many more.

After your lunch, enjoy a unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward.

This Uganda Boat tour will pass you through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa and you will also be able a variety of other animals as they drink at the water's edge.

You will your dinner and overnight stay at your best Safari lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park for the second night.



DAY 3- Go Chimpanzee Tracking at Kyambura Gorge

You have the option of having a very early breakfast or parking your breakfast and then head for the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking.

On this tour you will also see a variety of primates.

Return to for lunch at your Safari lodge then go sightseeing in the crater region - it is a marvel!

You have the opportunity to visit the Katwe Salt works for a glimpse into the traditional salt mining business.

Your dinner and Overnight stay will be at your Queen Elizabeth Safari lodge for the third night.



DAY 4- Travel from Queen Elizabeth to Lake Mburo National Park

After your breakfast you will drive back east wards to Lake Mburo National Park a journey about 3 hours.

You will find lake Mburo with a variety of attractions but the terrain is dominated by extensive wetlands, rolling grassy hills, seasonal and permanent swamps, wooden savannah, and forests.

It is because of these diverse ecosystems that render the park to be one of the richest in bio diversity.

After your lunch, take a boat trip on Lake Mburo and see for yourself the Crocodiles, Pelicans, Hippos, Herons and the rare Shoebill stork.

You will have your dinner and Overnight stay at your choice accommodation in Lake Mburo National Park.

You will have to book this Uganda accommodation for 1 night.



DAY 5- Take a Game Drive at Lake Mburo National Park and End you African Safari

After early breakfasts, you are off for an early morning game drive a wonderful opportunity to see the Zebras, Waterbucks, Buffaloes, Topis, Elands, Leopards, and a variety of bird species.

After the game drive you will head to Kampala having your lunch en route.

Make a stopover at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers and enjoy watching the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods which have been passed down through generations.

There will also be time to stop over once again at the equator for photographs and listen to some stories.

You will arrive in Kampala by early evening.

Tip

If you have an early morning flight the next day, then book into your favorite Entebbe Hotel to avoid missing your flight.

However, if you have an evening flight the next day, then you can book into a kampala hotel for one night and take an airport shuttle to Entebbe Airport the following day.
