How to make Vanilla Cream Syrup

Yield: 1 cup


1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 fresh nectarine, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla


Combine sugar, corn syrup and cream in 1-quart saucepan.

Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly.

Simmer 2 minutes or until syrup thickens slightly.

Remove from heat.

Stir in nectarine and vanilla.
