Jonathan Mugerwa's Prison Education

Its official. I have been accepted into Makerere University

A little back story on how I got here.

1. High school drop out in S4 grade (caught my first case which was a capital offense in magnitude and seen inside of the adult jail system of Luzira Maximum Prison of Uganda)

2. Prison at age 30 years

3. Obtained an ‘A’ level Certificate with 18 points in which History was A, Entrepreneurship B, Economics E, Religious Education E, and General Paper O.

4. Obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Business Management In 2010 while in Uganda Prisons Services

5. Obtained a Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Business Management In 2015 while in Uganda Prisons

6. A Degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management 4 years after coming out of Uganda Prisons Services

This is just my education background on top of a ton of organizing projects, campaigns, group developments, Buena Charity Services, Ubuntu Team, At Risk Child-Youth Uganda, Correctional & Rehabilitation Symposiums by the Formerly Incarcerated Individuals (Correction by the Community)and much more.

And just a reminder, I didn’t go to prison to study, but choose Education in Uganda Person . NEVER allow yourself to be limited on what you can do. You are the author of your narrative, get your pen and write the best narrative and walk into it.
