Importing used computers,laptops,printers and copiers

Tax Question
Looking at schools with low income, e, especially rural private and upe/use, I would like to import used pcs, and, printers and copiers to sale at affordable prices. Please advise. Thanks

Thank you Ben for the question,
Well under the VAT act, Supply of new computers, desktop printers and
computer parts and accessories and Supply of software and software licenses are the only exemptions allowed.

This means that used pcs, printers and copiers are subjected to full tax payment to the Uganda Revenue authority.
