Question: What are the duties and how much each for importing polyster kitenge, cotton materials like bed sheets, kitenge, leso,towels , blankets, Carpet(venyl type) kikoy etc to Uganda.

Answer:

Polyster kitenge:Import Duty 25%, VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%

Cotton bed sheets:Import Duty 50%, VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%

Cotton kitenge:Import Duty 50%, VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%

Cotton leso:Import Duty 50%, VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%

Cotton towels:Import Duty 50%, VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%

Cotton blankets: Import Duty 50%, VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%

Carpet (venyl type): Import Duty 25%, VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%

Kikoy: Import Duty 50%,VAT 18%, Withholding Tax 6%
