do i need an exit visa on my new emergency travel

Question:
i have came to Uganda with a British passport bt it got lost along with my visa now the British embassy have helped me with an emergency travel document so what i want to ask is do i need an exit visa to leave Uganda.

Answer:
Oooh yes my dear. You do need a visa to exit the country. I however suggest that you show some evidence that your passport got lost , i.e. Police letter.

You also need to show some evidence that you attempted to look for the passport and failed by showing a newspaper ad, where you requested the public to help you get your passport.
