QuestionWe are planning to visit a friend in Uganda. He has a house but not a physical adress. Do we need to give an adress when we come at the airport and say we come for tourism reasons. Won't they ask for a booking of a hotelroom or guesthouse?
AnswerI think it is okay to say that you've for tourism and still say that you will be staying at a friend's place. Since your friend has a house, you just need to describe that location giving the nearby road, district and village. You could also give a simple estimate of the distance of the house from Kampala. This will most likely be acceptable because many residencies in Uganda do not have physical addresses labled on them.
