Ricochet supplies Recording and Replay Technology to Uganda's Entebbe International Airport

23-March-2012

Unified Recording supplier Ricochet will deliver a redundant system for recording analogue and VoIP audio sources, monitors and radar feeds to Entebbe International Airport Uganda. The installation will start later this year.

In addition to the new Ugandan contract, Ricochet has secured seven African contracts in the last few months. Entebbe International Airport is the principal airport of Uganda and flight traffic has grown significantly over the past 5 years. Experts say oil investments - and the growing volume of business in the region, including tourism - are contributing to fast growth of air traffic.

Wilken deals in leading technology equipment with maximum efficiency and reliability - yet affordable - and with a proven track record, says Mrs. Marion Kalibbala Nagenda, Managing Director at Wilken. We are sure Entebbe International Airport will benefit from Ricochets state-of-the-art technology and their success in making safety simple.

Ricochet continues its strong growth on the African continent by ensuring a high technology level and working with partners to offer best-in-class and future-oriented solutions to the ATC operators.

Ricochet has won the confidence of global operators, says Mr. Oddmund Johansen, President & CEO, Ricochet AS.

We are proud of our international success - and to announce our first installation in Uganda.
