I think the easiest way to get your visa renewed is to go to the Uganda immigration offices at Entebbe Airport, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kampala near Kampala City Council and Serena Hotel.
You can also get your Uganda visa renewal at any nearby Uganda overland boarder immigration office. Most international students who enter Uganda using buses renew their visas this way.
You should be able to get another Uganda visa if you can prove you have enough funds to keep you around country.
