Do I have to start my Business through the Embassy of Uganda

Question:

I would like to start business in Uganda, Do i have to start through the Embassy Of Uganda in my country ?, Can i start my business in Uganda with Tourist Visa ? Is a Minimum Capital limit ? How can i take permanent residence in Uganda ? Thank you.

You do not need to start your business in Uganda through the Ugandan Embassy in your country.
All you need is to know the business you want to start and

then make that first business trip to kick start the registration process for your business.

As a foreign investor you're expected to invest no less than USD100,000 to qualify for an investment license along which comes along with Tax incentives.
