MAZDA CX-7
The Mazda CX-7 is a mid-size crossover SUV model from Mazda, and is the production version of the MX-Crossport concept car. The CX-7 was shown publicly for the first time at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show in January. Production officially began on February 20 at Mazda's Ujina#2 factory in Hiroshima. The CX-7 went on sale in spring 2006 as a 2007 model and was discontinued in 2012 in favor of the new Mazda CX-5. It is also Mazda's first mid-size SUV since the Navajo was discontinued in 1994.

Before you buy a Mazda CX-7 in Uganda

MAZDA’s CX-7 is a cross-over SUV; essentially, the CX-7 takes the sporty characteristics of a sports car and combines it with the versatility and carrying capacity of an SUV. The engine is one of the most exciting aspect of the CX-7 which borrows the same turbocharged power plant found in the MAZDASPEED 3 & 6 paired with a 6 speed tip-tronic gearbox. The drivetrain is equally well featured with independent suspension, ventilated disc brakes, stability/traction control as well as anti-lock brakes. Most CX-7s (CBA-ER3P) are available as 4WD although a 2WD (FF) version is available.

General Mazda CX-7 reviews for Uganda

Let’s look at the Mazda CX-7 interior, designing and technology. The Mazda CX-7's sharp nose and swept-back headlights take inspiration from the RX-8 sports car. The roof line is low, giving it a sporty look unlike anything else in the 4x4 class.

Inside, the cowled instruments have a sporty look, while the steering wheel is like that from the MX-5. Everything is smart and well built, but the number of buttons on the dashboard makes it look a bit cluttered.

Considering the boot space and comfort, the Mazda CX-7 isn't the most spacious 4x4 around. Boot space is 455 litres, which expands to 744 litres with the seats folded. When you consider the smaller Mazda CX-5 has capacities of 503 litres and 1,603 litres, that's simply not good enough. However, a clever one-touch seat folding mechanism makes lowering the rear chairs easy.

The driving position is comfortable and the view forward excellent, though, but a lack of steering reach adjustment means that drivers will find their legs brushing on the dash. Rear space is adequate at best.
