The restaurant has understated lighting, creepers and other exotic plants, as well as subdued décor, which will surely enthral you to the point where you will not wish to leave!
You may choose to begin your dinner with a glorious creamy crema di funghi – a delicate cream of mushroom soup so good that you may just decide to order another bowl.
Or else there is the mixed platter of Parma ham, salami and mortadella (affettati misti), a favourite for many at diner.
Then there is that all time favourite Bruschetta, simple, delicious and quite filling: toasted slices of bread served with a topping of tomatoes marinated in garlic and always a winner.
Returning guests expect to find these staples on the menu and indeed you will not be disappointed.
Another much acclaimed dish is the filetto di manzo al gorgonzola, tender and succulent beef fillet with gorgonzola cheese, sweet peppers and cream and a variety of vegetables such as parsley potatoes, carrots and green beans – always al dente and extra fine.

The dining room, as for all restaurants, is the focal point of your visit. It is decorated in an understated, romantic aura and coupled with soft lights and mirrors. It manages to be homely and cosy and can with ease seat thirty-six.
Private Room: For that very special meal, particularly when privacy is essential, you can always book the private dining room.
The place can also host weddings, board meetings, birthday parties, and stag parties.
It is geared to accommodate sixteen and similarly to the main dining room, it is fully air-conditioned.
Garden Terrace: The garden terrace is the latest addition to the restaurant. It is surrounded by an exotic garden with a gentle water stream on one side and it is shielded from the parking area by a fence, which is entirely covered by a wonderful creeper producing large blue seasonal flowers.
The terrace has a maximum seating capacity of thirty-two and is also ideal for medium-seized cocktail parties. Corporate bookings are the norm, in which case the whole terrace is allocated exclusively.
The Mamba Point Pizzeria
The Mamba Point Kampala Pizzeria is a separate unit from the guesthouse located on Lumumba Avenue in Nakasero just a few hundred metres away from the guesthouse and the restaurant.
Behind an archway gate there's Mamba Point Pizzeria, a peaceful dining oasis of calm. Sheltered under a simple yet stylish open-aired thatched roof, the pizzeria instils a relaxing Mediterranean atmosphere with a cool refreshing breeze.
The specialty cuisine at the Mamba Point pizzeria is evident: delicious, thin-crusted Italian pizzas, baked in a firewood oven and prized for their savoury fresh ingredients, some straight from the garden.
Expect wonderful home-made and imported cheese, hams, capers, anchovies, olives... to name but a few.
It's the perfect place for a Sunday lunchtime getaway, or a lovely evening meal embraced by a soothing décor.
